Biography
Sylvie Leprince has started to paint as a self-taught artist, after having experienced several ateliers motivated from her family's heritage, which drove her towards the fine arts universe.
Today, my painting is instinctive and rhythmic. I like to juggle with oil colors, acrylics and oil pastels, in which colors and matters have a fundamental role. I draw my inspirations from fictive or real urban or industrial atmospheres and sea landscapes. Those landscapes, often really close to abstraction, are a silent invitation to discover, to proceed further. As an evidence of the urban evolution, these new venues of common interest where people, locals and dreamers jumble together, interest me incredibly.
