Biography

A sculptor for more than 30 years, Rémi Coudrain has created monumental works and fountains for several cities.

His current research focuses on a more personal figuration. Bronze has become his preferred material because it allows him to convey a very intense message. His style is more symbolic and suggestive than realistic, he is always in search of movement.

Earth, plaster and bronze alchemy allow him to model his inspiration, share his universe and transmit his emotions. Sculpture is the most universal of the arts.

"To create sculptures is to transmit, through the volumes and contours of a block of material, the whole range of human sensations and emotions." - Henry Moore
