Alix Malka

Alix Malka was born in the south of France. As a young opera singer, he was struck by the magic of the visual arts which quickly turned into a passion for photography, fashion and film. Graduated in fine arts in Aix-en-Provence, he finished Fashion Design in Esmod, Paris. He worked for many years as artistic director with iconic designer Thierry Mugler creating all aspects of a haute couture house. He played an important role in the House of Mugler, collaborating with many photographers, including masters such as Helmut Newton and Richard Avedon. These inspiring collaborations have played a vital role in making Alix's dream of becoming a photographer come true. In 2002, he moved to New York and began his career as a fashion photographer, quickly getting involved in countless prestigious fashion magazines, including Vogue, Vanity Fair, Harper's Bazaar, GQ, Rolling Stone, Numero, The Face , ID ... Alix has shot a number of high profile fashion campaigns, such as Jean-Paul Gaultier, Lanvin, Nina Ricci, Harry Winston, Bloomingdales, Neiman Marcus, Guess, Uniqlo, H&M and Nike.
