Biography
Alexandre Moliéra was born in Strasbourg in 1974. He studied at the ENSAD Strasbourg. He creates paintings and uses photography for their production. The fluid materials he uss make visible a reality that we miss otherwise.
His images, in which nature and culture are sometimes closely connected, depict a landscape of an unsettling density. Under the different layers of paint that he applies on the canvas with instinctual gestures appear flows and pulses of life, the respiration of the places.
