Biography
Djamel Djebbour was born in 1989, an accident forced him to give up a promising career as a dancer in London. His artistic fiber having never left him, he is passionate about photography. He began self-taught photography with regular collaborations as a still photographer for shows, an activity he still exercises to this day. In 2006 the world became his photo studio. His current creation theme is “A world in motion”. The movement, the blur, the superposition are the biases of his creations. He expresses his vision of a world in action capturing these fleeting moments of life. These imperfections, from one country to another, are the engines of its creation. Without a priori or any kind of consensus with its models, it is where it is needed, in the middle of these fleeting moments of life. Privileged observer of these bustling cities, he shares with us his sometimes serious, often carefree but always positive visions. With his warm and humanistic gaze, Djamel Djebbour transports us to the four corners of the planet.
