Biography
“My work is figurative and focused on the body, which I paint as a laying bare of human fragility. The act of painting is for me a mystical and spiritual experience. On abstract acrylic backgrounds, I apply oil glazes worked with a wiping technique, allowing the figure to emerge little by little, in a struggle with uncertainty. The transparency weakens the flesh, revealing its tensions and imperfections, giving birth to veiled bodies, silent necks, anonymous backs. Through this process, I seek a sacred dimension, an escape beyond reality. My canvases then become inner narratives, where the alchemy of painting becomes transmission and resonance with the viewer.”
