Pascale Robert is a French artist who graduated with a DNSEP Art in Strasbourg, in 1997.
Pascale Robert’s pencil drawings are pure artistic gestures of her hand, with gradient nuances, representing her subjects with great accuracy.
Bright colors, funky motives, flashy manga sweat-shirts, tracksuit tops and Hawaiian shirts… Party culture and hard work in her studio produce a cheerful and brazen practice.
Each artwork becomes the witness of a fleeting instant, in a contradiction between the beauty of the gesture and the ungratefulness suggested by the postures of her subjects.
