Photographer-surveyor, Guillaume Collignon inherits from geometers. Like them, under the influence of public affairs, he identifies the forms of our sedentary lifestyle, of movement, of religion and of recreation. Like the ski jumps, no socially constructed place can escape from him. These launchers, whose obsolescence is programmed every year when snow melts, appear in the landscape like downgraded totems. Erected in an logic of sporting events, in his eye they become wrecks, forms laid to rest, monumental anecdotes. When in thaws, outfielders give way to soccer; only the photographer adventures off-road during off-season.
