Mathieu Lauffray

Born in Paris in February 1970, Mathieu Lauffray showed a keen interest in drawing at a very young age. After his baccalaureate, he entered the School of Decorative Arts in Paris where he met Denis Bajram with whom he befriended. For his final thesis, he produced Le Serment de l'Ambre which is published by Delcourt.

Then follows a rhythmic life between comics (Prophet, Long John Silver ...) and artistic direction of film (Le Pacte des Loups, Vidocq, Saint Ange ...).
