Biography
Born in 1972 in Fontenay-sous-Bois, David Kunzli studied commercial art at the School of Graphic Arts Corvisart in Paris. He soon gave up the making of models and turned to painting, art he practices from a young age.
Looking for a personal style, David Kunzli travelled through Asia and spent several months in the Himalayan mountains. From this visit, the painter kept the painting techniques of the black stone on raw materials(Nepalese paper, natural fabrics), finding as well the main theme of his work: The face and the features of the peoples of the mountains .
