Biography

Serge Guarnieri is a Parisian metal sculptor. He lives in Paris, his studio is in Normandy. He has been exhibiting since 2002. His work has been shown in many galleries and exhibitions in Paris and province.

His sources of inspiration as a sculptor are multiple: they involve observing all forms of expression of life and its organized matter, whatever its scale, the origin and time of its appearance. The mineral, vegetable or animal nature is the main source of his inspiration, from its gestation to its various stages of development and evolution. A bud, the birth of a flower can guide his artistic creation work, as can the creative power of the cosmos or the magma of the erupting earth.

His style, which is part of the universal organic movement, is almost calligraphic. He uses his soldering bow like a feather, the fused iron is an ink. In an artistic snapshot, he strives to capture and translate the movement and light that animates the material.
