Bernard Remusat puts new walls on our flat walls, old city walls, mature walls, which have lived, leprous walls engraved with noble scars, neither blind nor deaf, full of murmurs and glances on the past, our own wall as that of the artist, that of street stragglers, walls across the road, quietly observed, then dreamed and embellished with old plaster, palimpsest graffiti, walls of suns, rain and jealous shutters, walls of memories where to imprison oneself willingly.
