Born in 1989 in Rouen in Normandy, Prism did a master's degree in Graphic Design at Le Havre and upon completing it in 2012, immediately launched into a career as a graphic designer.
Studying graphics and typography pushed them to explore different ways of looking at their pictorial work, lending the pieces a unique style.
Prisme worked for many years on graphic abstraction and was greatly influenced by constructivism, surrealism, and pop culture. Their work took a turn once they started to create pieces which brought together graphic forms and samples of other images. They now works mainly with layers, accumulation, and superimposing graphic compositions over comics and typography.
After nearly fifteen years of graffiti the street remains the best gallery in their eyes, but in order to continue evolving and developing as an artists, they believe it is important to experiment with new media and ideas.
