Françoise Mamert, color fashion textile designer, head of the Textile Materials and Surface Materials department at the Duperré school from 1985 to 2006. She has created numerous partnerships with industrialists and carried out missions in France and China from 2000 to 2005. In 2004, Clémentine Chambon, a product designer, contacted her for textile expertise on a call for proposals from the VIA Rideau Lumière, a fibre optic weaving exhibition at the Salon du Meuble (furniture show) in Paris and Milan. In 2008, they teamed up and launched the Design Percept studio located in Paris, Bastille district. Their work is sustained by a permanent technological watch, their creativity is exercised in innovation projects, industrial developments and exceptional pieces. They strive to put design back at the heart of their client’s collections between utopia and pragmatism while valuing their know-how. The complementarity of their profiles gives them the ability to work in co-creation while extending their personal approach.
