Biography
Franco Turkish, Esra has lived and worked in Bordeaux since 2005.
After a career in the audiovisual industry as a producer and then press photographer in Turkey, she now devotes herself to painting.
Esra takes us in her aesthetic and spiritual research to question us about the fragile balance between plants and humans.
Each canvas offers us a poetic journey to the heart of lush flora, populated here and there with animals. Sometimes on figurative representations, sometimes through repetitive patterns of intertwining plants, Esra gives body, through the effects of materials and colors, to a world as virgin of all human traces.
