Margaux Chalançon was born in 1993 in Paris. French photographer living in Lebanon since 2016, she studied cinema in the United States at Boston University. She quickly turned to film photography after a trip to Beirut in 2014 where she took her first pictures with her grandfather's old camera. Since then, her work has been based on the details that she captures in the simplest possible way, without artifice. His photographs are pure and minimalist, just like him. It addresses the themes of architecture, travel, artists and marginalized communities.
She is working on a project to study and document the spiritual and social practices of Ethiopian domestic workers in churches in Beirut.
His series “Zoubeyda's world" was presented at the “Tints of Resilience" exhibition organized by the P21 art gallery in London
