Biography
Nadia Camensuli is a self-taught sculptor who lives in Vannes, Britain.
Nadia wrote poems for a while, and now expresses herself differently than with words, with her work of the earth. It brings out of it faces, dreamlike silhouettes.
The search for Nadia is an initiatory journey that all peoples close to the Earth have made : American Indians, Busmens of Kalahari, Wayanas or Amazon Oyampis. We forgot that we came from Earth and Nadia reminds us.
"When I work on Earth, it is as much love as it is tearing when I think about what man is doing to it. The land is beautiful, rich, intelligent and generous. We destroy it."
She tries to rebuild it with her inhabited hands and her simple and beautiful words.
