Biography
I was born in Moselle, then very quickly I moved to Chambéry, in Savoie, where I still live and work.
As far as I can remember, I have always sketched, tinkered with, hacked. As a child, I spent long hours drawing and my meeting, around the age of 8, with an old box of colors was a real revelation: "later I will be a painter".
My best memories from school are all linked to a creative activity. However, coming from a family background for which the practice of art could not, at the best of times, be only a hobby, I followed without conviction a classic and boring schooling before, by necessity , to find a food job in which I was moping. Following an economic layoff, which freed me up a lot of time, I was able to reconnect with myself and my deep desires.
Pure autodidact, I trained in different painting techniques. I turned towards the realization of decorative painted objects, then towards the creation / manufacture of jewelry, without finding in these activities a real fulfillment.
It was then that my vocation as a painter imposed itself on me. For the first time, I “dared” to tackle a canvas and this experience turned my life upside down. In a few brushstrokes, I understood that there condensed all my aspirations and the outcome of my childhood dreams. Expressionist and abstract, my painting is above all the mirror of my emotions. "
