Born in Lille in 1958, Marc Platevoet lives and works in Saint Amant-de-Boixe.
This versatile artist practices all kinds of arts and crafts, working with leather, wood, bronze or even clay. Lover of materials as well as of people, he exercises the profession of special education teacher while participating in various exhibitions at the same time.
His sculpting skills led him to exhibit in numerous art galleries and international exhibitions. He creates an imaginary world where reality blends with fairy tale worlds. He brings to life all kinds of objects including musical instruments and animals.
