Biography
Tang is a French painter born in 1972 in Isère. A self-taught artist, he first discovered the world of drawing and graphic art, and then decided to dedicate to painting. He lives and works in Lyon since 2003, where he has a workshop in the Croix-Rousse . Tang gives the observers poetic, moving and almost childish paintings. Influenced by the world of illustration and of graphic design, the artist pays special attention to the details and the lines. His work oscillates between abstract art and figurative art. To paint, Tang represents the emotions provoked by the contemplation of the exterior world. The colors are warm and the shapes are intertwined, allowing us to navigate between a real world and an imaginary world. The line separating those two universes is not clearly defined. The dream is but the product of the imagination nourished by a real world, belonging to a unique and single individual. Tang exhibits his work regularly in France.
