Artist from the Loire region, based in Chalonnes sur Loire.
Particularly fond of scenes from everyday life revealing happy moments, moments of joy, the artist captures the looks of his characters, their smiles, a feeling and renders them magnificently on his canvases by approaching varied color palettes and a play of shadow and light.
“I am a colorist who loves working with materials." Sylvie Gérard is an award-winning artist from France whose work has been featured in solo and group exhibitions nationwide. With a background in graphic arts, she uses acrylic and oil paints with brushes and palette knives to create a sense of joy and warmth in every scene.
