Philippe Gorce Gorfi

I was born in 1964, in Neuilly-sur-Seine in France. Art in all its forms has always been one of my passions, started at a young age by drawing. I eventually turned to watercolor, to acquire the basics. Then, I evolved to oil painting and knife before finding the vector of expression that suits me and allows me to express myself artistically. In parallel, from my technical training, I quickly exploited my knowledge for the benefit of sculpture. Since 2016, I have a sustained artistic activity that I wanted to share through exhibitions and competitions.

Light, painting, spirituality, words to tell a story of feelings, share a search for serenity and appeasement, bring the sweetness and warmth of light, of the sun to arouse emotion and appeasement through the colors and light. If it were necessary to give a name to my creative process, it would be "luminopicturalité". The technique of acrylic painting allows me this search for brightness to put on the canvas, the material is only the vector that allows me.
