Ayesha Prieto

Ayesha Prieto was born and raised in Mexico City, where she studied at the National School of Plastic Arts (UNAM). From an early age, attracted by the work of the great Mexican muralists, she followed the call of Art that she never stopped listening. His work has been divided for ten years between mural painting (public art) and “cosmic” painting. The project she is currently working on is called Windows on the Universe and consists of recognizing the external universe through the expression of the interior and reinterpreting the light in painting.

Through her works, Ayesha Prieto seeks to express a very personal sensitivity and chromaticity. Interested in astronomy and the order of the universe, she draws on an important cultural background transmitted by the Aztec peoples of Mexico and the Mayans of Yucatan; from which she inherited a fascination for the stars and an acuity of colors.

His intention is to open windows to the universe with colorful works that celebrate the energy and the manifest beauty of light in space.

Ten years of experience in the field of artistic creation and cultural management have allowed him to exhibit his works in Mexico, Brazil, Italy and France, and to organize two personal exhibitions around the theme of landscapes. cosmic. She has also produced numerous murals in public spaces.
