Napo is a French artist who originally hails from Nantes but has been based in the South of France for several years now.
Over time, Napo has developed his own particularly unique, enchanting and playful world, in which imaginary characters figure side-by-side with animals, flowers and plants. Through his work, the viewer is returned to childhood, forced to participate in the salutary and beneficial journey this involves. The colours are intense and the paint generously applied, imparting a joyful mood to the paintings. The French adjective "gourmand" (here "richly indulgent") is undoubtedly the most apt to use to define the style of this artist-magician.
