Bertrand Dorny

The artist Bertrand Dorny was born in 1931 and died in 2015. He taught at the Académie de la Grande Chaumière and at the Ecole de Beaux-Arts in Paris. First introduced to painting, it is engraving that he will practice most of his life, appreciating the manual and artisanal work that it requires. His works are made of poor materials such as wood, cardboard and used paper. His collages of colored folded paper reveal places that he calls "topomorphoses".
