I have always worked in series. The different themes of my series are born with my story, over time, according to my personal questions. The perfection of the world has always fascinated me, with the terrible feeling of its inevitable destruction. I kept wanting to give traces of it as if everything was going to disappear tomorrow. As a young woman in Africa in a forest area, I quickly became aware of the human and ecological disaster that deforestation represents for intensive cultivation. The tree is therefore a central and recurring theme of my work, my axis of verticality, where I root my painting. The horizon line, between Ocean and sky, earth and sea, line of horizontality, line of "beyond the real" opens up to me the field of all possible escapes. 

Known for everything and unclassifiable, I travel quite easily from figuration to abstraction, and like to explore all kinds of techniques: oil, acrylic, and for large formats, paper masking, overlays of layers of material, marble powder, clay , glaze… I build my work, not by seeking to reproduce reality, but by drawing from my “personal catalogs" to rediscover the emotion of a moment, the dazzling felt for a moment and paint it. The space offered by large formats gives me more freedom to experiment with the material, to choose the unexpected, to let myself be carried away by gestures and to drown in color, to the point of abstraction.
