Salomé Partouche

Salomé Partouche is a young French visual artist. Her approach of work is multidisciplinary, she navigates between sculpture, painting and video.

Her reflection is mainly centered around the idea of strangeness, the body, the supposedly ugly, and the discourses they are responsible for.

The performative art that surrounded her during her childhood has nourished her creative fibre, which she developed little by little, notably at the Saint Martins School in London where she graduated in 2015. Salomé Partouche has developed her own vision of the world and has always cultivated her singularity. She met her partner Jean Samuel Halifi at the Sèvres workshops in 2012. Determined to make the codes evolve, they created together the Atelier de Paname in 2017, a veritable breeding ground for contemporary art in the Paris region. Then, they set up the Biennale de Paname whose third edition will take place in October 2021. It is a whole approach for the development of contemporary creation, it is a free event accessible to all, where several artists from various disciplines and media are correlated.
