Biography

Originally from Grenoble, I discovered painting from an early age.

Self-taught, I developed this passion with a very keen sense of observation following my visits to museums.

In 1980, I became a student of the Grenoble painter Guy Thonay. I worked with him for two years on the transparency technique used by the old masters.

I am inspired by this glazing technique and develop my artistic personality through various internships with sometimes internationally renowned speakers. I also take art history and application courses for five years. I continue to evolve, especially with the advice of the Flemish artist Patric Marquet.

I started to exhibit in 1982 in Grenoble (38) then in various international exhibitions and galleries.

I chaired the jury of the Perpignan International Plastic Arts Fair (SIAPPE) in 2007 and 2008 as well as chaired the jury of the poetic and artistic group of Perpignan for 5 years from 2000 to 2005.

In 2005, I created the Association Europe des Arts; I am also the president. This association aims to promote artists in all forms of expression (painting, sculpture, photo, video, music, etc.) through exhibitions and art events: salons, galleries, furnished spaces. Internships are offered with exchanges of knowledge between national and international artists.
