Biography
Philippe Marcus is a French artist born in1982 working and living in Paris. He studied at the fine Arts school in Cergy where he obtained two diplomas with distinction.
A confirmed muralist and street enthusiast, he works on many projects internationally. Recently, he has expressed interest in a technique which seems incompatible with current trends in urban street art, and has been using ink for his last series of paintings. This is the natural continuity of his research on lines, which have become the core of his work.
His art evolves with his exploration of drawing and lines, depicting unstable and elusive shapes and figures which seem to be in constant transformation.
His work has been exposed in France as well as in Germany, in England or in Taiwan. He has also worked as curator.
