Biography
Agathe Duperou (1992) joyfully plays with the codes of the ceramic medium, the material of the origin of the modeling making the form explode by the reinvention of the function: the plastic inventiveness is accompanied by the semantic shift and one guesses there a disturbing but somewhat reassuring presence.
An enigmatic corporeality where assignments of meaning are diverted: screens and mirrors no longer reflect the image of the world or ours, they are called to be something else, something organic, destined to charge and change our gaze, because this object-something that no function exhausts claims to be the bearer of a living inner landscape that remains elusive.
