Biography

Originally from Lille, from a family who favored "real work" over uncertain artistic activity, I studied industrial design ... Employee for 30 years, now freed from certain constraints, I decided that 'it was high time to live my passion.

Self-taught, influenced in my youth by Anglo-Saxon science fiction illustrators, impressed by the quality and appearance of certain "custom" paintings made on cars in the United States, I acquired my first airbrush in 1987.

Adept at hyperrealistic portraits made using this technique, I understood that painting required an interpretation of reality, if only to avoid being in competition with photography.

Since I opened my horizon, I explore the multiple possibilities which are offered to me, to try to give to my painting an extra soul. Oil paint, watercolor, acrylic, airbrush, ink, colored pencil, I give myself the right not to choose.
