Presentation

I have been working in sculpture since the age of 12, alongside my profession which is to this day and for 30 years the creator of Volumes Costumes.

Having explored many facets of this profession, I now want to realize my childhood dream which has always been my deep passion and which was not supported in my family environment.

For two years now I have been serious about bronze, 15 works are ready to be exhibited, and 9 are in the process of being produced, at the moulder or at the foundry.

I work bronze in two directions,

The most important, the hollow bronzes, thought out in finesse and lightness, my works are sheets of 5 mm bronzes which represent incomplete human shapes, bodies or parts of bodies, faces or parts of faces, moving scenes, scenes danced. The patinas are worked in gradation, marbling, gilded in parts with gold leaf for some.

The anchor points of the pieces are toes, locks of hair, while subtle, some works are mobile on their bases.

The second direction starts from sculpture on molded PU foam, transformed into wax and then Bronze.

These pieces are distended and gathered bodies which take on a geometric shape by installing here and there disproportions in the various parts of the body. The whole is worked in the elegance and the roundness of the lines.

Everything is harmony, softness, fluidity, I believe that these three concepts are found in all my works.
