Biography
Catherine Barthelemy's painting is a lifelong work that began with the figurative to become abstraction. Each canvas constitutes a unique atmosphere and it is above all a light, a color and a force that spring up at first glance. Each new start to the canvas is provoked by an emotion, a landscape, an anger… which explains its sometimes soft tones, with its shades of gray and white, sometimes tormented with its deep blues and blacks, but also its sun-kissed reds. .. superb.
