Biography
Florent Groc is a French painter, born in 1987. He studied graphic design, moved to Paris and founded his collective. Following this, he felt the need to create just for himself without actually giving up graphic design and began painting.
In an outstandingly familiar universe, the artist took turns between figuration and abstraction and painted according to his desires. One of his favorite topics were Massif de l'Etoile, near Marseilles, his homeland. He likes geology and weather, a feeling which he is able to find in Tatras, Poland. Not only is he attracted by topics like nature but also forest damages caused by property speculation, he depicts this on canvas by portraying lifeless suburbanites.
