Biography

In 1934, lacking money, he rented part of the Château de Cabriès, located between Aix en Provence and Marseille. It is essentially in this workshop that he builds his work. He then exhibited twice more in Paris, in 1936 at the Lucy Krogh Gallery and in 1948 at the Horizons Gallery on rue de Seine. His regular gallery is that of Lil Mariton, rue Saint Ferréol, in Marseille (Galerie Da Silva, 11 exhibitions). He also exhibited five times in Aix-en-Provence. Otherwise, very distrustful of the commercial system, he receives visitors at the Château de Cabriès and sells his work himself.
