Biography

Born in 1970 in Vendée, I still live there in the heart of the Marais Poitevin. I have always been fascinated by abstract art without suspecting that I will one day dive into it.

Self-taught, painting is first of all my space of freedom, a moment of escape, where I can fully express my creativity. I have fun, I test, I experiment, I play with colors, textures, materials. I let my hands speak, and it's probably my unconscious that speaks.

I let myself be attracted by the colors. I improvise, I let myself be surprised. My paintings are made of overlays and transparencies. I give effects using various materials, most of them recycled (tissue paper, newspapers, packaging plastics, ash…). I use acrylic paint, inks, pastels and various ready-made or homemade mediums. I need to have a dozen paintings in progress to satisfy and multiply my creativity.

My paintings are colorful and abstract. It is an intuitive, inspiring painting that provides softness. The observer plunges as in a dream, a feeling, a disturbing emotion, which does not leave indifferent.
