Biography
Gilbert L'Héritier (1930-2000) is a French painter of Lyrical Abstraction. His main subject is the sea, mainly painted from the coasts of Brittany or the French Saint Michael Mount. He had his studio near Dinan, in Brittany. He belongs to the Post-War Pont Aven School. He illustrated with his paintings, watercolors or gouaches several books for Art Amateurs on his favorite subject, Brittany.
