Biography
OCHO, was born in 1986, this assumed name is a symbol of connection between all things, of cycles of rebirths that she draws from in each of her works.
In 2018, she begins to approach her work around the unconscious, then widens the spectrum to the collective unconscious, to primitive symbolism.
Each of her paintings is a confrontation, a duality between color and darkness, between light and shadow.
We also find silences, anguish, violence, which are as many questions on itself as on the society which surrounds us.
Her paintings deliver messages, like a coded, distant language that escapes her, like a constant back and forth between the past and the present, the conscious and the unconscious, between visible and invisible.
It is in this chance that she draws the inconstancy of our being to make matter.
