Chloé Kelly Miller & Michadu

France

Biography

Chloe Kelly Miller is an artist from Rouen, France. Her art emphasizes an inner passion for  psychology (a subject she has studied formally) and the human experience, which she explores at length through different mediums and supports. Her work takes the form of painting on canvas, porcelain, walls with ink or aerosol and photography. 2015 marked a new era for Miller when she moved to Paris. She began to create artworks that were more abstract in tone. In her work you will often find colors clashing. This testifies to the complexity of the human character and the depth of her study of self-portraiture.

Michel Michadu is a French artist and lives in Ploëzal, he has been working there since 2005. A well traveled, self-taught sculptor, Michel Michadu has been sculpting since ten years now, his favorite material is iron. He explores metal naturally and in a simplistic manner, through the energy of an imaginary gladiator. Michadu's sculptures are enormous, they not only question us but throw us off balance and often call on to the burlesque side of life. His works are unknowingly in the wake of Breughel, Dubuffet and Rebeyrolles, with a hint of "laughter" and "vividness", worthy of Rabelais.

Together the artist duo have come together in partnership to produce artworks demonstrating a mutual appreciation of each other's artistic styles.
