Magenta Ln, 29, painter, grew up in the suburbs of Paris in the 93.
Self-taught, his artistic career began in London in 2015 with graffiti in the streets of Brick Lane. Back in Paris a year later, she then painted on canvas and organized her first exhibitions herself in 2017. Since 2019, her artistic approach has been refined and she has devoted herself fully to painting. In residence at 59 Rivoli (Paris 1er) for 8 months in 2021, she meets her audience and participates in several projects and exhibitions, the last of which was in the rue de Rivoli gallery.
His work is a search for emancipation Through her paintings, she creates an uninhibited universe featuring free women, proudly independent, assuming their bodies, sexualities and emotions.
It raises issues related to the condition of women in a patriarchal world, but also more broadly is interested in the following question: How to fully exist and free oneself from the codes imposed by society (and by family, work) .
If painting allows her both to understand herself better and to deconstruct herself, it remains above all a real catharsis for her!
It is the way to exteriorize his anger and transform his frustrations.
His paintings are a rebellion, a cry for freedom and against injustice.
