Biography
Born October 12, 1940 in Troyes, Aube. Studies at the Troyes high school.
Industrialist and “evening and Sunday painter” from 1960 to 1990.
He began his career as a full-time painter in 1991, in his Paris studio. Since 1994, in love with the countryside and horses, he lives and paints in a stud farm of sport horses in the heart of Burgundy in Semur-en-Auxois.
Burgundy and Haras are the main sources of inspiration for the painter.
Franois Lévy exhibits regularly at the Roy Sfeir gallery since 1991 (samagra gallery at 52 rue Jacob and then at 6 rue de seine 75006 Paris)
