Tutu Kiladze is a Georgian contemporary artist, painter and drawer, recognized for a singular work that mixes contemporary painting, figuration, expressionism, naive art, symbolism and poetic imagination. Since the 1990s, she has developed a personal pictorial language where memory, Georgian folklore, spirituality and references to popular culture meet. Her universe, populated by stylized characters, fantastic animals and dreamlike scenes, is distinguished by a free, spontaneous and deeply narrative writing.
