Biography
Alexander Lufer (b.1965) is a Germany based artist.
"My artistic pursuits over the thirty years since 1996 have been varied and probably uneven, but have gradually narrowed down to several series that explore contemporary interpretations of traditional genres such as vanitas, still life and landscape.
In recent years, I have been most interested in the revolutionary changes in the return of form to the plastic arts that have been brought about by the latest digital technologies and the development of artificial intelligence".
He studied architecture at St. Petersburg University of Architecture and Civil Engineering, and even before graduating, he defined his profession as a free artist.
He took part in various group and individual exhibitions, including ERARTA Museum of Modern Art in St. Petersburg, Central House of Artists in Moscow, Nice and Lyon in France, Madrid in Spain, Luxembourg, Berlin and Hamburg in Germany.
