Hela is an emerging contemporary artist whose vibrant and playful paintings celebrate the quiet glamour of everyday life. With a focus on table settings, cocktails, glassware, and elegantly arranged tables, she creates modern still lifes that blend simplicity with bold color and charm. Her pared-back yet colorful style transforms ordinary moments into joyful visual statements.
Trained as a fashion designer at the renowned Pforzheim University of Arts and Design in Germany, Hela spent several years in the fashion industry. Painting was a parallel passion she nurtured alongside her design career until it naturally evolved into her primary creative focus.
Her fashion background deeply influences her artistic process, informing the balance, precision, and keen eye for color and form that define her compositions. There's a graphic clarity to her work that feels both effortless and intentional, reflecting a modern and stylish sensibility.
Today, Hela's paintings offer a fresh perspective on still life - inviting viewers into a world of light, leisure, and understated sophistication, all conveyed through her distinctive and evolving visual language.
