Flânerie
From July 21, 2021 to August 21, 2021
Since 2020 I incorporated my sociological backgrounds into my work and delved into the origins and developments of human coexistence in societies. I am particularly interested in the issue of subjective and collective identity.
I am a woman, wife, mother, artist, sociologist, sister, daughter of Bosnian parents, born and raised in Germany with reference to Bosnian culture. All this and so much more has and will determine my feeling for my identity.
In my paintings I involve my own experiences of finding identity, but also the stories of others. I depict the continuous development of identities and see this in the steady flow of the lines in my paintings.
