Biography

Gregory Adjei Kumah, professionally known as Greg Art, is a dynamic emerging artist from Ghana, born on July 6, 2001, in Nima, Accra – a neighborhood renowned for its rich cultural vibrancy and creative energy. Greg's artistic journey began at the tender age of six, when his natural aptitude for visual expression manifested through sketches in exercise books, turning everyday moments into compelling visual stories. Growing up in the culturally rich environment of Teshie, Accra, he cultivated his craft and refined his artistic skills during his three years of study at La Presbyterian Senior High School, where he immersed himself in the discipline of Visual Arts.

Greg's art is figurative at its core, seamlessly blending modernity with tradition. Each stroke in his pieces carries the sacred language of Adinkra, creating a visual dialogue that bridges the past and present. Through his work, Greg seeks to transcend cultural boundaries and encapsulate the essence of Ghana's rich heritage, creating a universal connection. His creations are not merely spectacles; they serve as catalysts, urging viewers to delve into their own creative depths and form a deeper, more profound connection with their cultural identities.
