Biography
Edouard Sacaillan is a Greek painter of Armenian origins born in Thessaloniki in 1957. He started painting at a young age.
Edouard Sacaillan nourrish from expressionist paintings contrasts: screams and silences, colors and blacks, images and shocks. The titles of his pieces, appear on the canvas, and unravel an analytical, moral and cruel enigma, but always part of a dream where truth is hidden.
He has exhibited his work several times in Athens and won the first prize of the Alexandria Biennale. He has done several important solo exhibitions in Paris, Cyprus, Athens, Vienna, Thessaloniki, Xanthi, (Greece), and Monte Carlo.
