Presentation

Choirudin "bubble", is an established Indonesian artist known for the foam and bubble metaphor in his works. For him, foam represents the dynamic world, beautiful and yet fragile; reminding us that nothing lasts forever. His techniques and their purposes are unique. For example, with scrape technique he creates fine textural lines in his paintings that serve as communication channels between the artist and his audience; and the bubbles represent various transient aspects of the world.

The predominant themes in his work are humanity, psychology and social phenomena, as he believes that art exists to make human civilization better.
