Biography
I'm Manala, a very young artist. I discovered painting in November 2020 because I was bored in my hospital room (after a very long hospitalization). I paint with instinct, and the starting point of my painting is very often my emotion of the moment.
I am self-taught and do not paint with brushes, (I find it flat and boring) so I express myself through a mixture of acrylic and gouache with the help of painting knife and plastic cup. I like to work the material more solid when I paint with the knife and its movement more liquid when working with the cup. Painting is for me a real therapy to empty my emotions.
