Oran Hoffmann is an Israeli/Dutch artist, born in 1981 in Kibbutz Sarid. He lives and works between Tel Aviv and Amsterdam, graduating from the Gerrit Rietveld Academy, Amsterdam in 2006 and with highest honors from Bezalel, the Academy of Art and Design, Jerusalem/Tel Aviv in 2011. He is the recipient of several grants such as the Young Artist Award, from the Ministry of Culture and Sport in Israël.
He exhibited a two men show with Josef Albers, 'Objektiv' in 2014 at the Tel Aviv Museum of Art and has subsequently held several solo exhibitions including at Broadway 1602 in New York. Exhibiting for the first time in France in 2018, with three simultaneous solo exhibitions in Aix-en-Provence among them at Atelier Cezanne and at Fondation Vasarely, where he made use of the original archive material for the creation of his own sculptural works.
